So the kids over at AP are describing the Boy Scout Jamboree as "Disaster-Riddled". Apparently having one person die of a heart attack after being taken to the hospital and four others killed when they ignored rules and policy makes the thing disaster-riddled. Oh, and some people suffered various heat-related problems during the wait for the President because they were required to stand in place for two hours before the speech.

They did find an expert who had written several¹ books on event planning who said the "children should have had personal fans" and "tarps could have been put up". Apparently she doesn't understand the scale of 40,000 people, which is no surprise since she's really just a birthday party planning publicity whore.

1. Well, technically two complete idiot's guides one on choosing caterers and one on party planning. Clearly she's an expert on putting on a week-long camping event for 40,000 people, right? I mean, it's pretty much the same as a birthday picnic for junior, right?
